Introduction Beth Upshaw
I have resided in Union for 48 years, where my late husband, Roger, and I raised our two daughters, both of whom graduated from Union schools. I earned my degree from Eastern Oregon University in La Grande and later served as the College Operations Manager for the Colleges of Business and Education, gaining extensive experience in budgeting, organizational management, and daily operations.
I want to hear from you!

Previous Experience
My long-standing commitment to Union shows in decades of volunteer service, especially through my work with 4-H. My contributions earned me the Union County Chamber of Commerce Woman of the Year award, recognizing my dedication to youth development and community involvement.

Why I am running
I am the sole candidate currently running for Position 4 on the Union City Council. I seek this role because I am dedicated to the community and confident that my leadership abilities can help meet local needs.

Goals
I hope to bring my experience, steady judgment, and collaborative spirit to the Council to help Union address challenges, strengthen local connections, and support a thriving future for all residents. I invite Union residents to contact me with the issues and concerns they see in the community so I can better understand what matters most to the people who live here.
City of Union
The Heart of Union County
I want to represent you, the residents and businesses of Union, which is why I am running for City Council. For anyone seeking a small town with charm, the City of Union fits the bill.
Union offers peaceful neighborhoods, outdoor activities, historic appeal, delicious food, a great school, business amenities, and nearby hot springs and top winter ski resorts. I want to safeguard our quality of life while supporting our economic growth. Please vote for Beth Upshaw for Union City Council Position #4.
